You can make a donation using your credit or debit card through our PayPal portal here. No PayPal account is required. If you prefer to send a check, please make it payable to The Bay School and mail it to PO Box 950, Blue Hill, ME 04614. Yes. Please indicate any desired honor or memory designation in the applicable field on our online giving page here [link to Donate page] or include a note with your check. We include all honor and memory designations in our Annual Report.

First, make sure that The Bay School meets your company’s requirements for matching (some companies can only provide a match for specific types of institutions). Once you have verified that your company will match a gift to us, please send your company’s match form to:

Yes! If you mail a check to The Bay School, we will acknowledge your gift with a thank you note that serves as a receipt for tax purposes. If you make a gift through our online giving page, you will receive an emailed receipt from PayPal and we will follow up with a thank you note.

Twice annually, our magazine-style newsletter is sent via postal mail. If you’d like to add or update your contact information for the newsletter, please email us at advancement@nullbayschool.org.

The Bay School is committed to wise stewardship of all its resources, including gifts from donors. The Finance Committee of the Board of Directors works with staff to develop a budget each year and to monitor revenue and expenses on a monthly basis, making adjustments to the budget as necessary. All expenditures of school funds must be approved in advance and demonstrate a clear connection to our core mission.

The Bay School is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and gifts to the school are tax-deductible in accordance with federal and state law. Each donor’s tax position is unique and donors should consult their tax professional with any questions about the deductibility of their gifts to charitable organizations.

The Bay School is supported by current students and their families, alumni and their families, current and former faculty and staff, and friends within the community. We seek grants for our programs when appropriate, and sponsors for non-curricular events.
