The Bay School welcomes gifts of money and property from families, alumni, friends, neighbors, businesses, foundations, trusts and bequests. These gifts are used in a manner consistent with the donor’s intentions to support the Bay School’s mission. Gifts and donations may be made to the Annual Fund, to the Bay School’s Endowment, and/or for a restricted purpose.
Give to The Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is the mainstay of our fundraising each year. Because The Bay School strives to keep tuition increases at a predictable rate, we rely on fundraising to close the gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost to educate each child. Gifts to the Annual Fund are solicited each year through community-wide appeals and direct appeal to individuals, extended family members, businesses, friends and neighbors. All contributions to the Annual Fund are considered unrestricted and go to support the school’s annual operating budget.

Give Monthly
Our Carousel Giving Circle is our monthly giving program. The name comes from the Joni Mitchell song “The Circle Game”, which the students sing at graduation. Donors are recognized with a special designation in our annual report.
Monthly giving sends The Bay School a little bit of love every month! It spreads your gift out across the year, making it easier to budget and perhaps allowing a larger total gift. For the school, it helps us maintain a predictable cash flow month to month.
Monthly payments can be charged to your credit or debit card using our secure online portal here. If you use your bank’s bill paying service, you can make your monthly gift through that arrangement as well. We also offer automatic transfers directly from your checking account. Make a Donation of Stocks or Bonds
The Bay School welcomes gifts of appreciated securities. Gifts of securities are immediately liquidated and directed to the area of greatest need as determined by the Board of Directors. Donors will receive an acknowledgement of the number of shares received and the date they were received. Other Gifts
We may also accept in-kind gifts. The Board of Directors must consider and approve all gifts of real estate or real estate holdings prior to transferring ownership to The Bay School. The Board of Directors is responsible for determining naming opportunities for objects and buildings and approving the display of commemorative plaques on campus
